About this instrument

Stress is normal; everyone feels it. What matters is noticing when the load is getting too heavy, so you can rest or ask for help before you're overwhelmed. This quick test shows how full your cup is over the past two weeks.

What you'll get:

Your stress level , from Calm and Collected to Overloaded

A result card to save and share

Scores on two aspects: how heavy the load feels and your sense of control

Calming lines and small steps you can try right away

About this test: 12 questions, about 2 minutes. This is a self-reflection test , not a validated psychological test or diagnostic tool. Your result reflects how you are right now and can change. Take it again anytime.

Source: Mindovia Original. Questions, levels, and result texts were written by the Mindovia team. The concept draws on Lazarus and Folkman's transactional model of stress (1984): stress happens when demands feel bigger than our resources to cope. So this test looks at two things: how heavy the load feels and how much control you feel you have. It does not use items from the Perceived Stress Scale (Cohen et al., 1983) or any other scale, and its level cut-offs are still provisional.

What it reflects on

  • Feeling the Load
  • Sense of Control

How to take it

Think about the past two weeks . How often have you experienced the following?

There are no right or wrong answers.

Answer based on how you actually feel, not how you think you should feel.

This test is for self-reflection, not a psychological measure or diagnosis. If stress is making it hard to get through the day, you have thoughts of hurting yourself, or it has felt heavy for more than two weeks, talk to a psychologist or a local mental health helpline.
